PU M.Ed Entrance Exam is taken by Panjab University to admit students in M.Ed courses i.e M.Ed (regular) for the department of education, Colleges of Education located in Chandigarh and Punjab, which are affiliated to PU and for M.Ed

Eligibility
For M.Ed. (Regular) 1 year course

Minimum 55% in B.Ed. (50% in case of SC/ST & BC applicants ). Qualifying marks for Entrance Test are 20% (15% in case of SC/ST, BC and blind applicants ))

For M.Ed. (through Correspondence) 2-Year course

Besides the above given eligibility M.Ed. (through Correspondence) course is only for in-service teachers, with two years paid work experience, in a school recognized by a Board of School Education established by law, or in College affiliated to or recognized by a university

Syllabus
entrance exam will consists of questions from the foundation course curricula of the following papers in B.Ed. of the Panjab University:
Philosophical and Sociological Basis of Education
School Management
Guidance & Counselling
The Learner – Nature and Development (Educational Psychology)
Teaching – Learning Process

Last date for applying online admission form: 27th July 2014

Last date for submission of hard copy of admission form & relevant documents (for M.Ed Regular): 01st

August 2014 for M.Ed (Correspondence): 05th August 2014

Tentative merit list will be displayed on the website (for M.Ed Regular): 04th August, 2014

Dates for inviting objections regarding merit (through e-mail only) (for M.Ed. Regular): Upto 06th August 2014

Display of provisional merit list (for M.Ed. Regular): 08th August 2014

First Counseling (for M.Ed Regular): 11th August 2014 to 13th August 2014

Date of Holding Entrance Test: 06th July 2014 (Sunday from 10.00 am to 11.30 am)
