Can any one please provide me the information about that is Punjab technical university is approved by UGC or not? Will you please tell me from where I can get the application form of the Punjab technical university? Also tell me when was this university established? Yes the Punjab Technical University is fully approved and coming under the UGC. Distance Education Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC) has given recognition to IKG-Punjab Technical University for offering Open & Distance Learning Programmes.

All the courses being offered by IKG-PTU under Distance Education mode are recognized by UGC.

As per the norms of UGC; IKG-PTU provides Personal Contact Programmes to all the students in its own Study Centers.
