Hi below I have given you the details for the PTET Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test so you can have a look

PTET qualification :

You should be at least Senior Secondary or any other equivalent exam passed with at least 50% marks along with 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education

Or

Must be in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education or 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)

Or

In final year of two years Diploma in Elementary Education along with Graduation.

Exam Pattern

The exam shall be having two papers constituting of multiple choice based questions on the following main topics:

I. Paper 1(For Classes 1-5): 1) Child Development and Pedagogy

2) Language I

3) Language II

4) Mathematics

5) Environmental Studies Total No. of Questions: 150

II.Paper 2 (For Classes 6 to 12): 1) Child Development and Pedagogy

2) Language I

3) Language II Optional Papers:

4) Mathematics and Science for Mathematics and Science Teachers Marking Scheme:

Each section of paper carries 30 marks.

Qualification Criteria

Candidates getting at least 60 percentage marks or more the exam concerned will be considered as qualified.
