Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PTET)is conducting to select Teachers for Classes I-V (Primary Stage), Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage). The Test will be conducted by State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab. Minimum qualification to apply for this examination is Senior Secondary, Graduation, BA/BSc.Ed/ BA.Ed or equivalent. Eligibility Criteria: For Classes I-V (Primary Stage): Candidates should possess Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Candidates should possess Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Syllabus of the PTET Paper I (for classes I to V) Primary Stage I.
