Here I am giving you information about basic Eligibility criteria to apply for various recruitment exam of public sector undertaking companies below :

The basic criteria for the PSUs are as following:

Eligibility:
You have to passed Graduation in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Production/Computer Science / Electrical / Metallurgy/ Aeronautic Branches of Engineering from any recognized Institution/University.

Minimum required number varies for different PSUs companies generally,60%-70% for general and 50%-60% for the SC/ST/OBC/PH.
-PSUs allow for two years gap.
-Only candidates between 21 to 30 years are selected.
-Three years of relaxation is offered to OBC.
-No more than 5 years relaxation is granted to SC/ST.
-It is important to appear for GATE exam before applying.

Age criteria:
The age should be 21 years and should not be above 32 years.
ST and ST category can apply till 35 years and OBC candidates can apply till 33 years. Physically challenged candidates can apply till 40 years.

The selection procedure is based on following two sections:
General Section
Technical Section

PSU Exam Eligibility Criteria

If you are a final-year students, the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview.

PSUs allow for two years gap.
Only candidates between 21 to 30 years are selected.
Three years of relaxation is offered to OBC.
No more than 5 years relaxation is granted to SC/ST.
It is important to appear for GATE exam before applying.

HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited)

HPCL(Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) needs minimum 60% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 50% Marks for SC/ST

NTPC(National Thermal Power Corporation ) needs minimum 60% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 50% Marks for SC/ST

Selection Procedure:
Selection procedure followed by maximum no. of PSUs includes the following stages:
Stage-I:- Written Examination (Generally on Sunday)
Stage-II:- Interview and GD
Stage-III:- Medical Examination

Written exam of various PSUs can be divided mainly into 4 sections:-
Aptitude & Reasoning
English & RC
Technical
General Awareness & current affairs

I have 60% in BE.But not overall 60%.
So can i eligibal for psus exam.
