The S.C.Aggarwal Chief Secretary of PSEB has informed to media that the reorganization of PSEB so now the result into two separate companies listed below:-
Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (Powercom) to manage generation and distribution
Punjab State Transmission Corporation Ltd. (Transco) to manage transmission functions.
There are the two companies which was fully owned and managed by the State government.

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has been making big strides in the post-unbundling period.
