Incorporated in 1950, Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) is Indias biggest delivery organizations taking care of around 35% of piece of the overall industry. SCI holds Navratna status. Shipping Corporation of India claims an armada of 74 vessels of 5.11 million dead weight tonnage (DWT) and has requested 29 vessels which will be operational in next 3 years.

SCI's clients are basically involved Government organizations, extensive mechanical concerns, universal oil organizations and open part endeavors.

Objects of the Issue:

The object of the issue is to complete the divestment of 42,345,365 Equity Shares by the Selling Shareholder. The procedures from this issue will be utilized to:

1. Part subsidizing the value segment for the obtaining of specific vessels; and

2. General corporate purposes.
