You want to join ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organization ). Here I am providing you details about ISRO. There are two ways to join ISRO: 1. ISRO conducts Every year centralized recruitment process for the post of Scientist/Engineer (SC). This examination is also conducted for post graduate Students of science/engineering. 2. ISRO has established an Institute namely (IIST) Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. This institute conducts (IIST Aptitude test) every year for admission in Aerospace Engineering and Avionics and Physical Sciences. Candidates must have passed 70% in 10th And 70% in 12th (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). ISAT exam consists of multiple choice questions. Select the correct answer from four options provided the candidate has to. Candidates have to answer all questions in two sessions. Each session is two hours. Questions of chemistry, physics and mathematics are. Candidate’s uncertain questions need to be careful not to try so negative marking. Candidates will lose marks for the same. Questions and instructions are in English. Syllabus of ISAT The candidate should study the following areas Physics Thermodynamics Properties of matter Electromagnetism Optics and waves Mechanics and laboratory related questions Chemistry Physical Chemistry Organic Chemistry Environmental Chemistry Inorganic chemistry Maths Trigonometry Vector Algebra Statistics and probability Matrices and determinants Limit, sets, relations and functions Binomial theorem etc. They have to memorize all the formulas for all three subjects. The candidate should know all short cut methods in Maths. And to prepare this exam candidate has to study 11th and 12th standard syllabus. |

Applicants want to join B.Tech Programs in IIST must appear for the Joint Entrance Examination Main conducted by CBSE IST offers Bachelor of Technology B.Tech. Programs in three branches, namely B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering : 60 seats Dual Degree ( B.Tech and M.S. / M.Tech. ) : 20 seats B.Tech. in Avionics : 60 seats Eligibiliy Criteria : General Candidates : 20% marks in aggregate and at least 5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics). SC , ST & Persons with DisabilitiesCandidates : 10% marks in aggregate and at least 2.5% marks in each of the three subjects ( Physics Chemistry and Mathematics ). OBC-– Non Creamy Layer ( OBC-NCL ) Candidates : 18% marks in aggregate and at least 4.5% marks in each of the three subjects (Physics Chemistry and Mathematics).
