Yes girl candidates can join Indian army through Combined Defense Services Examination organized by union public service examination. Here I am giving you details about it .

Educational Qualifications:
IMA & OTA
You have to passed an undergraduate Degree in any discipline form a well recognized University or equivalent

Air Force Academy
B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

Naval Academy
You have to passed B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics
OR
You have to passed Bachelor of Engineering degree from a well recognized university

Age-limits:
19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy

A girl can join in Indian army only after Graduation, so first you should complete B.Sc /B.A/B.com/B.E/ or any Graduate Degree from Recognized University.

After graduation there are some exams to join in Indian Army. One of the popular exams is CDSE (Combined Defense Service Exam) which is conducted by national UPSC every year two times in months of April/May and October.

Eligibility Criteria

You should complete the graduation from recognized university.

The final year students also eligible to apply NDA exam

Your age limit should between 19-23 years.

You should have a citizenship of India.

You should free from diseases.

You should have a perfect body and mental fitness.

Height: - Minimum Height should be 152Cms

Weight: - Weight should be correlated with the Height of the candidate

Myopia limit: - Myopia limit for the Indian Army is -3.75d

Fitness: - The candidate should be totally fit. The candidate should not have attacked with any type of Skin diseases.

Selection Process:-

1) Written exam

2) Interview

3) Medical Test
