The IIT Roorkee has Process Engineering department. The Department of Process Engineering was started in July 2007.

The Process Engineering is offering an integrated dual degree 5-year course leading to two degrees: a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Process Engineering and a Master of Business Adminstration (MBA).

The assigned intake of students for this course is 20 and the students are admitted through the IIT- JEE.

The course curriculum is rather broad-based laying enough emphasis on basic sciences, process technologies, engineering design, economic analysis, and management concepts.
