I have passed graduation and now I want to become Indian Police Service officer and for that I want to get the details of process to become Indian Police Service officer so can you provide me that?

As you want to get the details of process to become Indian Police Service officer so here it is for you: Step 1: Candidates firstly will have to fill the application form of Civil Services exam which is conducted by UPSC Step 2: Then candidates will have to give the Preliminary Exam in the month of May or June and it consists of two papers. Paper 1: Current events of national and international importance History of India and Indian national movement Indian and World Geography- physical, social, economic geography of India and the world Indian Polity and governance – constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc. Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc. General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change-that do not require subject specialization General science. Paper 2 Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision making and problem solving General mental ability Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. –Class X level) English language comprehension skills (Class X level) The optional subject for the second paper may be chosen from the following given subjects: 1 Agriculture 2 Animal Husbandry and veterinary science 3 Botany 4 Chemistry 5 Civil Engineering 6 Commerce 7 Economics 8 Electrical Engineering 9 Geography 10 Geology 11 Indian History 12 Law 13 Mathematics 14 Mechanical Engineering 15 Philosophy 16 Physics 17 Political Science 18 Psychology 19 Public Administration 20 Sociology 21 Statistics 22 Zoology Step 3: Candidates who are declared qualified in the “Preliminary examination” are supposed to take the final exam (normally held in the month of October) having following papers: Paper Marks 1 Essay type Indian Language Qualifying Paper 300 1 English Qualifying Paper 300 1 General Essay Type Paper 200 2 General Studies Papers 300 4 Optional Subjects Papers 300 Step 4: Then candidates will have to appear for the final stage is the interview.
