IGNOU offers Integrated MSc-PhD in Physics and Astrophysics (IPHDAP) course. For getting admission details as :

Eligibility :

Candidate should have a degree in BSc in Mathematics/Physics

OR

Candidate should have a degree in BE/BTech in Applied Physics/Radio Physics and Electronics/Computer Science Engg./Electronics Engg.Machanical Engg, Instrumentation Engineering/Photonics/Apllied Opto-electronics


Admission process :

Session begins in July.

Applications should fill in on-line only.

Entrance Test will comprise of Physics & Mathematics at the BSc level.

IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) does not offer MSc Physics Program instead it offers Integrated MSc-PhD in Physics and Astrophysics (IPHDAP).

It is an Integrated MSc-PhD Programme in Physics and Astrophysics, launched in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore.
It is targeted towards giving research orientation to students with effect from Post BSc level.
Broad areas of research envisaged are: Sun and Solar System, Stellar Physics, Extragalactic Astronomy, Theoretical Astrophysics and related areas of Physics, Instrumentation.
