Procedure to Join ISRO after 12th

Will you please provide the Procedure to join ISRO after 12 ?

Sorry to say that after completion of class 12 , you are not eligible to join ISRO.

ISRO stands for the Indian Space Research Organization.

ISRO is one of the biggest space research organization in India. It is also the second largest space research organization in world after NASA.

It conducts its own entrance exam for the selection of candidates.

ISRO also considers the marks obtained in GATE exam for the recruitment eligibility

Applicants must appear GATE exam to get a clearance to ISRO.

ISRO conducts its own entrance exam which is also popularly known as SET
Examination.

SET exam is conducted every year in the first week of May.

Eligibility Criteria:-

1)- Applicants should have completed Graduation in science stream. Applicants should have choose B.Sc/B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc course after 12th.

2)- Applicants should have completed B.Tech/B.E. degree in any one of the following streams:-

Electronics and Communication Engineering
Computer Science Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

3)- Applicants age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

4)- For OBC Applicants age limit is 21 to 33 years and for SC/ST Applicants age limit is 21 to 35 years.

5) Applicants should have scored at least 65% marks in B.Tech course.

Mode of Selection :

There are two parts .
1) Written exam
2) Interview

1)Written exam: It will be held on all the ISRO centers on 1st week of May .

The syllabus for the written exam will be same as the syllabus of GATE exam .

2) Interview
Those Applicants who passed the written exam will be called for interview .
