Procedure to join CID

I am 1st year student and want to join CID so please tell me the Procedure to join this and qualification required for it?

CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department.

There are various posts in this field that candidates can join.

As you want to join CID so you have to write the SSC (Staff Selection Committee) exam, conducted by the UPSC.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate should be a citizen of India.

Must have graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university

Age limits:
Age should be between 20 years to 27 years

3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates,
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Selection process:
Preliminary exam,
Main exam,
Personal interview
