CBI is the Central Bureau of Investigation. As you want to join CBI so you can enter into Sub-Inspector entry level position in CBI through Staff Selection Commission Examination (SSC) SSC exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission once in a year, normally during the month of February Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have graduation degree from a recognized university. Candidates must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years There will be upper age relaxation for reserved category as per rules of government of India. Candidates will also have to fulfill certain physical standards like Height: 157.5 cm Chest size: 81 cm About Exam: This examination has two papers Preliminary and Main examinations Preliminary examination consist of English Comprehension Numerical Aptitude General Awareness General Intelligence and reasoning ability Main examination consist of Arithmetic ability Statistics English comprehension skills Candidate who clears the Preliminary exam will be able to appear in main exam After clearing the main examination candidate will be invited for attending the interview. |

CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) is an investigating agency of India. It was formed in the year 1941. It’s headquarter is located in New Delhi, India. CBI hires contenders through direct recruitment, deputation, promotion by seniority or through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination. All the recruitment for Group C posts for Sub-Inspectors, Constables and Lower Division Clerk are done through Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Procedure to join CBI as Sub Inspector: Sub Inspector can be hired by SSC Combined Graduate Level examination. It organised by SSC yearly. Eligibility Requirements: Candidate age should be between 20 years to 25 years. Candidate should have a graduation degree from a recognized university. Exam Pattern: The exam has 2 tiers: SSC Tier 1: It is a Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) It is of 2 hours duration with total marks of 200. The paper has 4 sections which are General Intelligence + Reasoning (50 marks) General Awareness (50marks) Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks) English Comprehension (50 marks) After qualifying in Tier 1 exam, candidate will be eligible for tier 2 exam. Tier 2 exam is a Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type) It carries a total of 400 marks with 2 papers, each of 2 hours duration. The first paper carrying 200 marks, contains 100 question from Quantitative Abilities and the 2nd paper include English Language and Comprehension. |
