In order to get admission in marine engineering college applicants have to appear in one of the following entrance exam. IIT JEE: IIT Joint Entrance Examination MERI: Marine Engineering and Research Institute entrance exams AICET: All India Common Entrance Test. IMU CET: Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test List of institutions that participate in these exams MERI: Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Kolkata MERI: Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Chennai MERI: Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Mumbai IMU: Indian Maritime University International marine communication centre IIT: Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Advance Maritime Studies and Research Bengal Engineering and Science University Goa University University of Madras Mangalore University Cochin University Tolani Maritime Institute International Maritime Institute Eligibility: The applicant should pass plus two with minimum 50 % marks in 12 science . Exam pattern The core subjects are physics, mathematics and chemistry. The aptitude and logical reasoning will be tested. |

B.Tech. Marine Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Marine Engineering is an undergraduate Marine Engineering course. Marine engineering is a branch of Engineering that deals with nautical architecture and science. Eligibility criteria: For seeking admission to the B.Tech. (Marine Engineering) course, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects with not less than 60% of aggregate marks from a recognized board of education.
