To become a Police sub inspector applicants should possess a graduate degree from any recognized university and also applicants should have scored minimum 60% marks in 12th standard Applicants age should be 19-25 and age relaxation is as per government norms for reserved quota. To become Sub Inspector you must first apply for the SI exam This exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission . Physical Standards for SSC- Sub Inspector Physical endurance test (pet) is mandatory. Only those applicants who secure qualifying marks in Paper I of the written examination, as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, and also clear Eligibility and Physical Endurance Test (PET) and medical test, will be called for the Personality Test / Interview based on their combined performance in Paper I and II of the written examination. For Male applicants only Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances 100 meters race in 16 seconds 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes For Female applicants only Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances High Jump: 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances 100 metres race in 18 seconds 800 metres race in 4 minutes Physical Efficiency(Endurance) Test (PET) For male applicants only Walking : 1600 Meters (1.6 Km) in 15 minutes. Cycling : 08 Km in 30 minutes. For female applicants only Walking : 01 Km in 15 minutes. Cycling : 05 Km in 30 minutes. Weight : Corresponding to height for all Posts. Medical Standard : 1. Eye sight: For the posts of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses. For the posts of Intelligence Officers in NCB. The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes with or without wearing of glasses. |

Hey as per your demand here I am giving you details regarding Police Sub-Inspector Eligibility Qualification You should be graduate in any stream from recognized university or its equivalent. You can also apply in the final year of graduation. There is no restriction of percentage in CPF exam. Age limit You must attain the age of 20 years but not more than 25 years. Age relaxation Age relaxation as per government norms SC/St + 5 years OBC + 3 years PH + 10 years Nationality You must be the citizen of India. Physical Standards Height: 165 cm (for men), 150 cm (for women) Height relaxable for Hill men and Tribals: 5 cm Chest: 76 cm with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates) Vision: Eye-sight (with or without glasses) Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye. Selection criteria Written test. Physical test |
