Re: President's Circle University Of Toronto
Well the Presidents’ Circle is the University of Toronto’s donor appreciation society. It came into existence to thank and recognize leadership annual gift donors through a series of special events and communications. As of January 1, 2007, membership to the Presidents’ Circle is granted to individuals who give $1,827 + in a calendar year to the university, $10,000 for corporations Objective of the Presidents’ Circle Aim of the Presidents’ Circle is to give an opportunity for the university to thank donors for their continued leadership and support. The members has been shown the effect of their giving through a unique series of lectures that profile faculty, staff, alumni and students of the University of Toronto. The social events – the Holiday Party and Garden Party – in addition to Bookstore event, are a wonderful way for friends, old and new, to connect and celebrate the university. University work to maintain the integrity and high standard of this programming which has become synonymous with the Presidents’ Circle. Members to the Presidents’ Circle are asked to make a gift of $1,827 between January 1 and December 31 of a given year. For example, in 2008 Mrs. Smith donates $500 on April 1, $500 on June 15 and $1,000 on October 31 for a total contribution of $2,000 in 2008. Presidents’ Circle status takes into account any joint gifts made between two individuals. CONTACT Presidents’ Circle University Advancement, University of Toronto J. Robert S.
