Hey Mr. L. Jay Lemons is the president of the Susquehanna University

He announced Monday, Feb. 29, that he plans to conclude his service as the institution's 14th president on June 30, 2017, at the end of his current contract.

L. Jay Lemons has been president of Susquehanna University, a national liberal arts college enrolling about 2,200 undergraduates, since February 2001.

Lemons has been very active in the community and in professional organizations.

Each year, approximately 20 sophomores are selected to be Presidential Fellows.
