PSU is stands for Public Sector Undertaking.
These are units owned by the government of India and may be corporations or state-owned enterprises.

Most of the PSUs require candidates to clear the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

Here are tips to prepare for PSU exam;

Be aware of exam pattern of different PSUs like:

Number of technical questions,
Number of non-technical questions, negative marking,
Exam duration,
Marks per question

Always solve previous year question papers
Adopt Reference books for derivations, equations, conceptual thought process, theory etc
Try to adopt short cut techniques to save the time.
Join a coaching centre
Consult with seniors & teachers

Here are some tips to prepare for PSU exam:

Be aware of exam pattern of different PSUs

Make a time schedule

Always make it a habit of referring to previous year question papers

Buy good books

Join coaching

Eat well, sleep well

Concentrate on study

Understand all topics

Make your own notes

Try to take mock tests too

Concentrate on the syllabus

Group Discussion Round:
Group Discussion is a crucial round conducted for shortlisted candidates.
Good communication skills, topic knowledge, team spirit, leadership qualities, patience level are the major parameters to be considered

Personal Interview:
Sound technical knowledge, positive attitude, body language, good communication skills play an important role to clear personal interviews
