Preparation For IES Exam In Mechanical
Hello sir, I’m preparing for IES exam. But the routine is not fixed for doing study with a concentration. Can any one suggest me preparation tips for IES exam in mechanical?

IES preparation is same for all candidates. IES (Indian Engineering Services) Exam is conducted by Union Public Services Commission. This exam conducted in the month of: June (usually). Candidates may apply for the exam in online mode. Age should be 21-30 years. Educational qualification: Candidates have A Bachelors degree in Engineering from a recognized university Exam pattern: Written exam followed by a personal interview Marks deduction: 5 percent marks may be deducted for illegible handwriting Negative marking: Yes All over preparation for IES is easy you can even compared with GATE. For Engg Service Exam (ESE), you may need not practice Exercise problems or may need not study multiple books for the same topic. Instead you have to study multiple books for the same subject but for not same topic. PRACTICE! PRACTICE!! PRACTICE!!! Mantra. About Objective paper About Descriptive papers Objective is more important than Descriptive papers (THERE ARE NO MERCY MARKS WITH UPSC) General Studies & General English: Refer to basic English grammar books and have a clear concept about the usage of words, parts of speech and tenses Try learning few new words on a daily basis. This will help increase your vocabulary When you are learning new words, learn their antonyms and synonyms too and the manner in which the words can be used Develop a habit of reading an English newspaper daily.
