The National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida, is set to conduct Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.

Exam pattern
NCHMCT JEE is 3 hours paper.
The exam will be divided into five sections of which 30 questions each from:

Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction,
General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Aptitude for Service Sector and 80 questions from English language

There will be no negative marking.

Syllabus;

Question paper will be available in both English as well as Hindi.
There is no prescribed syllabus for the exam.

The exam is conducted to judge the capability of the aspirants.

Questions will be asked on the basics of hospitality service, Logical reasoning and general awareness.
Aspirants need to work on the language sector i.e. English. English section will include grammar, comprehension passages, synonyms, antonyms and many more.

Preparation tips:
Read newspapers, magazines regularly and keep yourself updated with latest happenings
Practice math problems
Take mock tests.
Refer previous exam questions papers.
Develop your analytical skills as it will help you in the “Reasoning and Logical Thinking” section

There are numerous Hotel Management exams that are being carried out in our country every year. The questions asked in these exams are just to check the mental ability of students.

General guidelines for preparing exams

The basic thing the students need to be aware is the significance of the exam.

They require a focused plan. You have to create a time table.

You can separate each subject and study accordingly. Students can take small footsteps and achieve a lot within a small time.

The basic qualification needed by a candidate to appear for these exams is a pass in standard 12.

They should have learned English as one of their subjects.

Hotel Management Entrance Exam Pattern

The majority of entrance exams in hotel management will include topics such as:

Aptitude for Service Sector
English Language
General Knowledge & Current Affairs
Numerical Ability and Scientific Aptitude
Reasoning and Logical Deduction

The examination will have a time period of 3 hours. 1 mark shall be provided to the students if they answer correctly.

If they answer incorrectly, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
