You can enter into banking sector through written test conducted by particular bank or by IBPS. After clearing written test, you will be go for interview or group discussion.These exam is conduct mainly for probationary officer, clerk, specialist officer.

These exam mainly have following sections.

Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation
Logical Reasoning
English Language
General Awareness
Computer Awareness

Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation : This section includes mainly number, square roots, decimal numbers, data interpretations etc.
Logical Reasoning : This section includes pattern matching, decision making, odd numbers, blood relation type questions.
General Awareness : Current affairs, general knowledge regarding banking sectors are cover in this section.
Computer Awareness : Basic computer knowledge is require for this section.
English: This section includes synonyms, vocabulary , Reading Comprehension etc.

Preparation: To clear bank exam, you should join good coaching classes. If you do not want to join coaching classes then keep in mind following points.

Practice to solve previous year question papers as much as you can.
Always read newspaper for general knowledge
