Can you tell me which Entrance Exam do I have to clear to get admission in UG Medical courses - MBBS and BDS - offered by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)?

Admission in MBBS and BDS in the constituent institutions of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences shall be carried out through Central Counselling by Director General of Health Services (DGHS).

One who has qualified for NEET exam on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) can apply for NEET Counselling for admission to MBBS & BDS Admission in Deemed Universities.

Eligibility

One must be an Indian National.

One must be minimum 17years old.

One must have passed any of the qualifying examinations - The Higher/ Senior Secondary Exam or the Indian School Certificate Exam which is equivalent to (10+2) Higher/Senior Secondary Exam which is conducted after a period of 12 years study, the last 2 years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as a core course.

One belonging to General category must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together at the qualifying examination.

One belonging to backward classes (SC, ST, VJNT & OBC) must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology taken together at qualifying examination.

Person with disability One in General Category must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination.

One belonging to constitutional reservation with person with disability claim must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination.

One Qualified (10+2) under a foreign system in India, are required to obtain equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi).

One belonging to general category that secure minimum of marks at 50 percentile in NEET (UG) and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils will be eligible for admission to MBBS / BDS Courses.

One must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of Medical Fitness at the time of Counseling.
