Postal Assistant Exam

Department of post is one of the biggest departments in India having extra than 5 lakh staff in all over India twigs.

There are lots of twigs, offices in all over Urban India and rural India.

There are total 22 postal circles in our country further divided into divisions.

Eligibility Criteria for Postal Assistant Exam

Age:
Minimum age is 18 years
Maximum age is 25 years

Qualification:
The applicants who are involved to make the career as postal assistants in the post office must have 10+2 or 12th class from any recognized board in India.

English subject is necessary in the 10th and 12th class.

The applicants who have higher qualifications can also apply, but the state language and English subject is necessary.

Computer & Typing Skills:

Having knowledge and experience in computer basic it is also required to apply to the post. Typing speed in Hindi should be 25 words per minute or in English 30 words per minute.

Syllabus for Exam

Aptitude Test:
Syllabus for aptitude test contains the subjects like English, Mathematics, Reasoning, General Knowledge and analytical ability.

• The paper will contain the total of 100 questions with 1 marks of each question.

• The duration of the exam will be two hours.

• The total marks for all subjects will be 100.

The classification of marks subject wise is given below.

• 25 Questions on General Knowledge – 25 marks,
• 25 Questions on Mathematics – 25 Marks,
• 25 Questions on English – 25 marks,
• 25 Questions on Reasoning and Analytical Ability – 25 Marks

Typing test:

Duration of the typing test: 30 minutes
This time is containing 450 words of English paragraph and 375 words in Hindi with a minimum speed of 30/25 words.
