Yes Alex, There is a possibility for you to get job in Indian Navy in the physiotherapy department.

For getting job in the defence field, you will have to be eligible in all of their criteria’s.

The criteria’s are as follows :

1. Age Criteria:

The age of the candidate appearing should be not more than 22 years. If you are more than this specified age bracket, its not easy to make it into the defence sector be it the army, navy or the airforce.

2. Minimum mark required for 10+2 :
Depending on the course you have opted for, minimum marks of 70 percent is required in 10+2 appearing for an interview.

3. SSB:
This stage is one of the toughest as you need to pass the entrance exam. There will be minimum cut off marks for this exam!

After clearing the entrance you will have to prove your mettle in Group Discussions, Interviews and also a Physical test to check your physical endurance.

The starting salary ranges from 25,000 to 40,000 depending on what post you get.

If its an officer post you are getting, you will be paid in the higher bracket and also will serve as a captain or a lieutenant.
