Yes, physically challenged applicants are eligible for civil services examination but government will decide the post according to the person's disability and the age limit for applying for civil services is 21-30 and there is also age relaxation for SC and ST.


Scheduled posts are for PD applicants.
Total number of attempts 7
The physically disabled persons should have disability of 40% or more
Further you will get age relaxation of 10 to 15years according to your disability.
Relaxations according to following codes::
Code Functional Classification
BL 1. both legs affected but not arms


BA 2. both arms affected
impaired reach
ataxic
weakness of grip.


BLA 3. both legs and both arms affected.
OL 4. one leg affected (R or L)
impaired reach
ataxic
weakness of grip


OA 5. one arm affected (R or L)
impaired reach
ataxic
weakness of grip


OAL 6. One arm and One leg affected.
MW 7. muscular weakness
B 8. the blind
LV 9. Low Vision
H 10. Hearing

According to me yes physically challenged applicants are eligible for civil services examination. Here I am provide you the eligibility required for you to apply in the Civil Services Exam

Age:
Age limit for applying for civil services is 21-30

There is also age relaxation for SC and ST.

Nationality:

The applicant must be citizen of India

Education qualification:

The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University

Examination Pattern

Preliminary Examination
There are two compulsory papers of 200 marks each in the Civil Services Prelims Exam.
Main Examination

The written examination will consist of the following papers:
Paper-I

Section 1 Essay 200 Marks
Section 2 English Comprehension & English Précis 100 Marks (The level of paper would be Matriculation/ Xth standard level)

Paper-II
General Studies–I 250Marks (Indian Heritage and Culture, History and Geography of the World and Society)
Paper-III General Studies –II 250 Marks (Governance, Constitution, Polity, Social Justice and International relations)
Paper-IV General Studies –III 250 Marks (Technology, Economic Development, Bio-diversity, Environment, Security and Disaster Management)
Paper-V General Studies –IV 250 Marks (Ethics, Integrity and Aptitude)
Paper-VI Optional Subject – Paper 1 250 Marks
Paper-VII Optional Subject – Paper 2 250 Marks
