Physical Standard for CDS Exam

Hello sir I want to give Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam so would you please tell me Is Physical Standard require for this exam???

Union Public Service Commission conducts Combined Defense Services (CDS) Examination for recruitment of various vacancies under Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.

Physical Standards:-
Minimum height: 157 cm
For Women candidate’s minimum height is 152 cms.
There should be no disease of bones and joints of the body.
Minimum eye standard: Without glasses better eye 6/6 and worse 6/9
The muscles of abdomen should be well developed






Educational Qualification:
For Indian Naval Academy: Applicants must have degree in Engineering from a recognized university/institution.

For Air Force Academy: Applicants must have degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy: Applicants must have degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Age criteria
For IMA: 19 years to 24 years.
For Naval Academy: 19 years to 22 years.
For Air Force Academy: 19 years to 23 years.
For Officers Training Academy: 19 years to 25 years
