I want to take admission in PhD programe in Kharagpur IIT so can you tell me that the IIT karagpur are invited the application form for autumn semester or not if it’s invited then tell me that how should I fill the application form of PhD?

The IIT Kharagpur is invited candidates for fill online application form for PHD admission. At IIT Kharagpur applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. Programme on Regular, Sponsored and Individual Fellowship (i.e. CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR/INSPIRE categories).

Dates are over for admission in IIT Kharagpur for PHD. The PHD at the Institute in all disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture & Regional Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences, Rural Development, Law and Management.

Application fee:


Application fee is Rs.1000/- for Unreserved/OBC/Transgender candidates
Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PwD/Women candidates


Important dates:


Commencement of Online application form submission March 19, 2018
Website closure for submission of online application form April 23, 2018
Date of Test & Interviews in Depts/Centres/Schools (for short listed candidates) June 01, 2018
Date of admission in the Ph.D. programme for selected candidates July 10, 2018(Tuesday)

Eligibility:


Candidates must have B.Tech., M.Sc., MBA (after BA/B.Sc./B.Com), MA, B.Arch (Engg.), PG Diploma in Management of 2-year duration (after BA/B.Sc./B.Com), MBBS degree with compulsory one-year internship completed or a degree equivalent to any of the above.

All applicants seeking admission shall have to possess 60% marks (or a CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale) in the qualifying examination in Engineering/ Science/ Commerce/ Management or 55% in Humanities or Social Sciences (or a CGPA of 6.0 in 10 point scale).
