My friend is telling me that University of Mysore announced the Phd Entrance exam 2015. What are the eligibility criteria to seat in Phd Entrance exam conduct by the University of Mysore? I would like to hear from you.

The University of Mysore is offers Doctorate of Philosophy in a wide range of subjects. Selection of candidates for admission to Mysore University Ph.D. is based on entrance test and interview conducted by the university.

Candidates who have completed M.Phil course and possess national level fellowships are exempted from the entrance test.

Important dates:
Application forms available from 23rd Nov, 2018
Last date to submit application form with challan 18th Dec, 2018
Entrance exam 16th - 18th Jan, 2019

Eligibility:
Candidates who have secured atleast 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/Cat-1/Physicaly Challenged candidates) or equivalent grade under grading system, in their Masters Degree or equivalent examination from the recognised Universities/Institutions.

Age:
There is no upper age limit for applying for the Ph.D entrance test.

Application Fee

General Merit candidates: Rs. 2000/-
SC/ST/Cat-1/ candidates Rs. 750/-

Documents are required to be submitted along with the application form:

Marks sheet and passing certificates of qualifying examinations
Transfer Certificate and Migration certificate
Community Certificate (For OC candidates community certificate not required)
Certificates for Special categories, if required
Nativity Certificate if required
GATE/ CSIR NET/ UGC NET or equivalent scorecard (if applicable)
Experience Certificate (if applicable)
