I want to do Ph.D. from Bangalore University so please give me the details about the eligibility criteria required for it?

Bangalore University offers Ph.D programmes in the following faculties

Faculty of Arts
Faculty of Science
Faculty of Commerce
Faculty of Education
Faculty of Law
Faculty of Engineering

Eligibility-
Candidates must have passed Master's degree in relevant discipline, with 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized University

Candidates who have appeared in entrance exams UGC/UGC-CSIR JRF Test / NET/ SLET/ SET/ GATE and cleared it are eligible to apply and not required to appear for the entrance examination.

Selection Procedure-
The entrance test paper is of total 100 marks with multiple choice questions of one mark each.

Duration of the test will be 120 minutes

Tentative Dates:
Last date for the submission of application forms-
Mid of October, 2015

Entrance test will be held-
End of October, 2015
