Yes, of course you can do Ph.D Organic Chemistry after passing MSc Organic Chemistry course.

Ph.D. Organic Chemistry or Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry is Doctorate Chemistry course.

Organic Chemistry is a branch of chemistry that deals with the structure, properties, and reactions of compounds that contain carbon.

The main areas of research are Bio-mimetic chemistry, long-range stereo-chemical control, and medicinal chemistry, and natural product chemistry, synthetic and mechanistic organic chemistry.

The duration of the course is three years.

Eligibility
The minimum requirement is a 55% or equivalent grade in Master's Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics or a related subject.

Admission to the research program is based on an entrance test followed by an interview at the Institute.

Students with CSIR/UGC fellowships or a valid GATE score may appear for the interview directly, following the same application procedures.
