Hello sir I had heard that University of Mysore has released Notification for Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) as I too want to apply for that so will you please provide me information about this to me??

Hey!!! The University of Mysore offers Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in a wide range of subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have secured atleast 55% of aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/CAT-1/Physically Challenged candidates) or equivalent grade under grading system, in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from the recognized University/Institutions

Exemptions

The following candidates are exempted from the entrance exam and they can apply for Provisional by consulting a guide in the subject of their interest after verifying their eligibility

-Candidates who have qualified for UGC/CSIR (JRF Fellowships OR; qualifed for Lectureship through UGC/CSIR NET Exam /K-SET/GAT OR; Govt. /Aided College Teachers under FIP

-Candidates who have completed M.Phil course, provided their M.Phil course was through an Entrance Exam

-Foreign Nationals with Indian/Foreign Degrees


Entrance Exam Pattern:-

1. One question paper per subject with one hundred questions (100) with four choices out of which one is the correct answer.

2. Maximum marks shall be 100 (one hundred) and the time available for answering questions shall be 2 (two) hours only.


Application fee per paper:-

a)General merit candidates: Rs.2000/-

b)SC/ST/Cat-1 cadidates: Rs.750/-
