Eligibility
Post-Graduation (PG) with minimum of 55% marks
5% relaxation shall be permissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/State OBC (Non-creamy layer) and Women category.

Admission Process

Applications for Ph. D programme are received against specific advertisement once in a year as per vacancies available. The JU Ph. D Entrance Exam is conducted once in a year.

Types of Candidates for Research

Full Time Research
One who will carry out their research full time on the campus.
A few selected full time research scholars will receive a scholarship from the University Research Grant.
However research scholars are encourage to apply for Ph. D Grant from UGC/AICTE and other Govt. agencies.

Part Time Internal
One (applicable to working faculty members in any of the departments/Schools of JU, Faculty members working in other Universities/affiliated Colleges located in Jaipur are also considered in this category.

Part Time External
One, who will register with the University, complete the mandatory residential and credit requirements as lay down and is then permitted to continue their research work at their place of work if approved as a research organization by the University.

Fee and Scholarship
Application Form Fee: Rs 1500/-
Registration Fee: Rs 5000/- (Non refundable)
Caution Deposit: Rs 5000/- (Refundable after the award of the Degree)
Course Fees: Rs. 15,000/-
Research Fees: Rs 60,000/- per year
Thesis Evaluation Fee: Rs. 25,000/- (one time)
