Ph.D in Environmental science Eligibility

Hi I have completed B.Tech (Biotechnology) and M.S or M.Tech in Environmental science now I want to do Ph.D from University of Calcutta so provides me the details of admission?

The University of Calcutta is a public state university located in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), West Bengal, India. It was established on 24 January 1857.

Eligibility for Ph.D :

The candidate should have Chemistry as a combination subject at the bachelor’s level.
Percentage at the Master’s level should be at least 55% marks.
Those candidates who have already passed UGC-CSIR (JRF) NET/SET/SLET/GATE/M.Phil/ M.Tech or equivalent examination need not appear at the written test and can apply directly for the interview.

Selection procedure-

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview.
Candidates who have passed NET/SET/GATE/M.Phil or equivalent examination can directly apply for the interview.

Tentative Dates -

Last date for the submission of application form in March.
RET held in month of April.
