Hello sir I want to know about the result of PGIMER so please provide me suitable information about the same.

The result of PGIMER 2016 has been declared by the examination authority. PGIMER 2015 Result of only those candidates has been declared who have scored qualifying marks in the entrance exam

Qualifying Marks for PGIMER 2016:

The merit list of PGIMER prepared only for those candidates who have scored qualifying marks in the entrance exam.

Candidates will be called for counselling for seat allotment as per their rank in merit list.

The minimum qualifying marks of PGIMER 2016 for different categories are given below:

PGIMER Qualifying Percentile

Open (General) and Sponsored/Deputed-55

OBC, OPH, SC/ST, Rural Area, Foreign Nationals-50

Bhutanese Nationals-45

Inter-se Merit:

If two or more candidates obtain equal percentile scores in PGIMER 2016, then inter-se merit for selection shall be determined on the following basis:

A candidate who has obtained higher aggregate marks in MBBS examination shall rank higher to a candidate who has obtained lower marks

If the aggregate marks obtained in MBBS examination are the same, then a candidate senior in age shall rank higher to a candidate who is junior in age.

PGIMER Counselling:

Allocation of MD/MS courses seats will be done on the basis of a personal counselling strictly as the candidate’s rank in the merit list.

The number of candidates will be called for the first round of PGIMER 2016 counselling will be 3 times the total number of seats.

The selected candidates will be known as Junior Residents and have to sign contract service for a period of three years.
