My sister wants to do MBBS from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER). So she wants to know about last date of application form for admission. Please tell me about this?

PGIMER 2018 Admission Eligibility Criteria


MD/MS

The candidates interested in applying and appearing for PGIMER 2018 Exam for MD/MS and MDS courses can check the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Interested candidates must have an MBBS degree from a University or an Institute authorized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Must have either completed, or due to complete, one year rotatory internship training on or before 31st December/30th June for January and July session respectively

It is mandatory for the candidate to be registered with Central/ State Medical Registration Council.

MDS / House Job (Oral Health Sciences)

Interested candidates must have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) of Panjab University or any other university recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Mandatory to be registered with Central/ State Dental Registration Council.

Must have either completed, or due to complete, compulsory rotatory internship training on or before 31st December for January session and 30th June for July session respectively.

Other information for House Job entrance to be noted:


The candidates will be selected for a tenure of six months for House Job (Oral Health Sciences). This period of six months can be extended up to one year if recommended by the Head of the department.

A candidate will be offered House Job only once in the department for a maximum tenure of one year.

Candidates become eligible for House Job within three years of obtaining the BDS degree.

If a candidate has done House Job in the past in any hospital or institute, then he/she is not eligible for House Job at PGIMER.
