Rs. 600/- for General category candidates.
Rs. 300/- for reserved category candidates.

Tentative Schedule
Starting date for application submission:- July 2016

Last date for on-line application submission:- August 2016

Deadline for hard copy to reach WBUT by speed post or by hand:- August 2016

Admit Card Available From- August 2016

PGET Phase-II Exam. Date:- August 2016

Result Publish Date:- August 2016

Counselling:- August 2016

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy/ Architecture from a recognized institute/university.

Final Year candidates can also apply provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria by August 31, 2016

Candidates who are Associate Members of a Professional of Engineers recognized by the Govt. of India as equivalent courses are also eligible to apply

Candidates who have M.Sc. or are completing M.Sc in the appropriate branches are also eligible.

It may be noted that distance education degrees are not eligible

Exam pattern
The duration of the exam will be 2 hours

Candidates have to attempt a single paper for 100 marks.

The question paper will consist of a total of 100 multiple choice objective type questions

The question paper will be in English only.

The paper will comprise of the following sections:

General Section: consisting of English, Aptitude in Logical/Reasoning power and Mathematics for 20 marks

Mathematics, Basic Sciences & Engineering Sciences: 30 marks

Relevant Engineering Section: 50 marks

There will be no negative marking system in the test.
