I want to join Postgraduate School, Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna searching for courses details. Will you please provide me details about NDA Professional Part-Time Postgraduate Programmes in all departments so I plan to admission also provide admission requirements?

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into full-time postgraduate programmes in the Postgraduate School, Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna for the Academic Session.

NDA Professional Part-Time Postgraduate Programmes.

Degree Programmes:
The following professional Doctorate, part-time Masters Degree and Postgraduate Diploma programmes are available in the faculties and departments listed below:

Faculty of Arts and Social sciences
Department of Accounting:

Master in Business Administration

Department of Economics:

Master in Financial Economics
Master in Industrial & Labour Relations

Department of History & War Studies:

Professional Doctorate in Leadership and Strategic Studies (DLSS)
Master in Conflict, Security & Development
Master in Development Studies
Master in Leadership Studies

Department of Political Science and Defence Studies:

Professional Doctorate in Defence and Security Studies (DDSS)
Master in International Affairs and Strategic Studies
Master in Public Administration
Master in Strategy and Security Administration
Master in International Affairs and Defence Studies

Admission Requirements

The requirements for the various programmes are as follows:


Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree: A candidate for PhD Degree must possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) at Bachelor Degree and a Masters Degree in the proposed field of study from a recognized University. In addition, the candidate must have scored an average of not less than 60% or 3.50% at the Masters level.
Masters (MA, M.Eng and M.Sc) Degrees: A candidate seeking admission into the Masters Degree programme shall be a graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy or any other recognised university. Such candidate must possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the relevant field of study.
