Pest Of Maize TNAU

Hello sir, I have a farm and in which various maize. I want to know the identification of pest of maize in TNAU? Can any one give me detail of pest of maize TNAU?

Pest of maize in TNAU is defining the leaf feeders are damaged by Maize. It has various symptom of damage.

Leaf feeders:

Web worm: Cryptoblabes gnidiella

Symptom of damage

Larva first feeds on the lemma of the flowers scraping the chlorophyll later on the milky grains.
Webbing of maize cobs and feeding on the flowers and the grains.
Identification of the pest

Larva - Long and dark brown. It forms silken webs on cobs

Adult - Dark grey forewings

Management:
Spray monocrotophos

Azadirachtin 0.15% 500-1000 ml/ha
Buprofezin 25% SC 1000 ml/ha
Chlorpyriphos 20% EC 1250 ml/ha
