As you want I am here giving you placement process for students of Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar).

Placement Procedure

Training & Placement Cell sends invitations to companies along with relevant information and documents .

Company can also show interest in recruiting IIT Ropar students by contacting T&P Cell, IIT Ropar by sending an email .

After receiving filled in Job Announcement Form (JAF)1 and relevant information from a company T&P Cell will reply .

Suitable date for the Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) is decided.

Students are notified of the PPT date.

Companies visit IIT Ropar campus and conduct PPT.

Resumes/CVs of the applicants are made available to the companies for short listing.

Companies are required to send the list of short listed students by email to the T&P Cell prior to the campus visit for final interviews.

Companies visit the campus for placements on the allotted dates and conduct :
Group Discussions
Aptitude test
Technical test
Personal Interviews etc.

Companies made final list of selected students on the same day after the selection procedure is completed.
