Indian Institute of Technology is a Public Institute of Higher Education ,Which is located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India .

It was Founded in 2008 .

The Permanent Campus of IIT Gandhinagar located on the Banks of Sabarmati Near Palaj Village is under Construction and is Nearing Completion.

Institute took Possession of Over 400 Acres of Land in August 2012

The Classes and other Activities are Started in the New Campus from July 2015.

The Institute will Function as a fully Residential Campus and will be constructed in phases.

The Campus will be Run on Solar Power.
