Re: Pegasus Foundation
The Pegasus Foundation improves animal welfare through effective grant making and education in the United States, the Caribbean, Native American lands. The Pegasus Foundation funds select wildlife protection organizations in specific geographic regions, including marine mammals on Cape Cod, Massachusetts; sharks worldwide; rhinos and elephants in Africa. Initiatives of Pegasus Foundation Stop the Slaughter of Mute Swans Killing Wildlife for Sport Caribbean Animal Welfare Alliance Stop the Slaughter of Mute Swans initiative By the Pegasus Foundation hard work free-ranging swans are now a naturalized, and magnificently beautiful, part of environment. Pegasus Foundation said that there is no evidence that swans are responsible for meaningful environmental alteration. Yet, Governor Cuomo, bowing to pressure from the DEC, recently vetoed important legislation that would have declared a moratorium on the killing of mute swans in the state of New York. Pegasus is currently developing a plan for legal and regulatory action to ensure that mute swans receive necessary protection. There motto is to Help Pegasus Foundation Stop the Slaughter!
