Hello sir I want to take admission in Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University for doing B.Tech so will you please tell me what is the eligibility criteria for this Course??

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University was established through PDPU Act, a legislature passed by Gujarat state assembly in 2007.

Below I am providing you details for B.Tech Admission of this University:

Programmes:

-Chemical Engineering

-Civil Engineering

-Electrical Engineering

-Industrial Engineering

-Mechanical Engineering

-Petroleum Engineering


Eligibility Criteria:

-Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% Marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

-Candidates must have also appeared in Paper – 1 of JEE


Selection Procedure:

The admission committee will prepare inter-se merit list for the eligible candidates on the basis of their JEE Main Overall Rank for B.E./B.Tech obtained in the JEE Main Examination

Reservation: For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the candidates of All India Seats under the following categories:

Scheduled Caste (SC): 15%

Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5 %

Physically Challenged (PC): 3% (Minimum Disability of 40%)

Girls Variable Supernumerary Seats (GVSS): 10%

-Last date to apply online – 4th week of June 2016
-Last date to upload JEE Main 2016 score – 4th week of June 2016
-Declaration of candidates’ list – 4th week of June 2016
-Declaration of provisional merit list – 1st week of July 2016
-Counselling process – 1st week of July 2016
-Last date of admission/reporting to the allotted institute – 4th week of July 2016
-Beginning of first semester – 4th week of July 2016
