Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (or PDPU) was Established through PDPU Act, a legislature passed by Gujarat state assembly in 2007.

The University is located in Raisan Village, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India .

B. Tech. is Offered in following Disciplines :

Petroleum Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering

PDPU B. Tech Application Fee of Rs.1200 (Rs.350 for Gujarat candidates) must be paid via net-banking or credit/debit card. Receipt of the online payment must be retained for future reference. After the JEE Main 2016 Result is declared, candidate must update the details of the same in the application form.

B. Tech Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% Marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics


Candidates must have also appeared in Paper – 1 of JEE Main

Seats Reservation:

Scheduled Caste (SC): 7%
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 15%
Socially and Economically Backward (SEBC): 27%
Physically Challenged (PC): 3% (Minimum Disability of 40%)
