What is the maximum age limit for the Punjab Civil Services Exam??? Also provide me other details of the examination…………

Punjab Civil Services Exam is conducted by Punjab Public Service Commission for recruitment to the following given services/posts:


Punjab Civil Service (Executive Branch)
Deputy Superintendent of Police
Deputy Superintendent of Jail (Grade-II)/District Probation Officer(jails)
Excise & Taxation Officer
Tehsildar
Block Development & Panchayat Officer
Labour and Concilliation Officer


Nationality:
Citizen of India; or
Citizen of Nepal; or
Subject of Bhutan; or
Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the Ist January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India; or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda and United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganike and Zanzibar) Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India;
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of Punjab in the Department of Home Affairs and Justice.


Eligibility:
The applicant should hold degree of bachelor in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.


Age:
Candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age as on 1st Jan, 2013

Date of Preliminary Examination : Mar 16, 2014 Date of Main Examination : third week of July, 2014 onwards
