The Job Fair on the Premises of Patna University was held on 25th and 26th April 2016.

Companies like Kirti Solar, Sunal Technology, Integrated Infotech, Hawkman Technologies, Shiv Shakti Technologies, Ruban Hospitals, Atlantis Medicare Pvt Ltd, Coca Cola, Aviva Life, Zakir Hussain Institute, UTV Network, Marconi Pvt Ltd, Reliance Life, Apex Marketing, Wipro and City Group of Industries, Jalandhar, besides some reputed schools had put up their stalls on the campus.

These companies are supposed to recruit about 2,200 candidates.

As many as 14,711 youth of seven universities, except Patna University, have already been recruited by different companies on pay package varying from Rs 10,000 to Rs 70,000 per month.

Students of medical, engineering, management, computer applications as well as of graduation and postgraduation courses would be eligible to participate in the job fair.

The monthly pay package would vary from Rs 20,000 to Rs 70,000, depending upon the nature of jobs offered to the individuals.

Students of any college in the city can participate in this fair with their academic records and photographs
