About the Department of Geography

The Department of Geography was first established in 1928 in the science block of the college as a new academic programme of Patna College. The Post-Graduate teaching was started, however, in the year of 1949

The Department has introduced One-Year P.G. Diploma Course in Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems.
