I am pursuing MCA from Panjab University Chandigarh. I want to know about Dean College Development Council (DCDC). Please tell me how it works and who manage it. Please provide me detailed information about it?

Panjab University is a public university located in Chandigarh, India. Originated in 1882 as the University of the Punjab, it was relocated in Chandigarh in the year 1947 as the East Punjab University after the partition of India, where the university was split between Pakistan and India


About DCDC
The office of the Dean College Development Council (DCDC) acts as an intermediary between the university and its Affiliated Colleges. It plans for the integrated development of the Affiliated Colleges and provides them with the required necessary help and guidance. The College Development Council (CDC) comprises of about 40 members and they meet at least once in a year.

The office of the DCDC deals with the matters related to Affiliations and Approvals of the opening of new colleges or new courses. Fresh appointments of the faculty in the Affiliated Colleges are also made through this office.
