The Department of Management Studies of Kannur University Offers The MBA programme (Full Time credit Semester) of is for the Duration of two years spread over four semesters.

The Department offers specialization in Six Streams:
Finance,
Human Resources,
Marketing,
Productions & Operations Management,
Small Business Management
Information technology

Admission Eligibility :

Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree Examination (under 10+2+3 pattern) in in any Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Law, Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture Discipline of this University or any other Indian or Foreign University duly recognized by the Kannur University


Candidates to be eligible to apply for admission to the programme are required to have scored not less than 50 % marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. However, candidates belonging to the other backward communities are eligible for a concession of 5 percent marks in the qualifying examination.


Entrance Test

Management Aptitude Tests are to Judge the skill of the candidate pertaining to knowledge of English language, quantitative aptitude, general knowledge, general aptitude and data interpretation ability. The scores such as CAT/C-MAT/MAT/ KMAT will be considered for admission.

Admission Procedure :

Admission is on the Basis of Merit as Determined by the weighted scores obtained by the candidate in the Entrance test scores such as CAT/MAT/C-MAT/KMAT, Group Discussion and Personnel Interview.

Kannur University will not be conducting any Entrance Test.

Student Intake

40 +10 (NRI/Payments) Reservation Rules:

As per the existing rules prescribed by the University Application Fee for MBA programme is Rs. 500/ and If the candidate need to be considered under the NRI quota an additional application (for consideration under NRI/Payment Quota) with additional fee of Rs.1000/ need to be remitted.
